Sharalyn grew up in a small town in Wisconsin where she loved games of tag, softball, whiffle ball, and many neighborhood games. She also loved excursions to both of her grandparents' farms where she rode horseback, dressed up in grandma's clothes with her cousins, and watched fireflies.
She moved to Minnesota to teach elementary school, and achieved her Master's Degree at the University of MN.
Her dream is to write and illustrate her stories.
She currently lives with her cat and a host of wildlife. She enjoys painting and writing about the wild turkeys, deer, fox, squirrels, woodchucks, and birds that visit her backyard. The beauty of the ocean also captivates her, and she loves creating watercolor paintings of it. One of her goals is to help protect wildlife and their habitats. She also hopes to inspire children to love and protect nature.
